This figure is the PLAMAX MF-89 minimum factory Basara Nekki plastic model kit by Max Factory/Good Smile Company, based on the rocking pilot/singer from Macross 7. It is a 1/20 assemblable model approximately 9 cm tall, provided as a colorful model kit rather than a pre-built figure!
The kit uses color-separated runners, so his dark blue outfit, white pants, red wristband, and blue shoulder orbs are largely already molded in the correct colors. After gluing the multicolor parts together and applying the included eye decals, you get a small but dynamic Basara in a guitar-playing pose, fitting his Fire Bomber style.
A simple base is included, allowing you to display him stably next to other Macross 7 model kits.
