Chainsaw Man revolves around Denji, a boy who grows up in poverty and spends his days as a devil hunter to pay off his debts. His only friend is Pochita, a cute devil with a chainsaw for a nose. Denji dreams of a simple life: enough food, a roof over his head, and maybe one day a girlfriend. But his world is turned upside down when, after a brutal confrontation with devils, he merges with Pochita and transforms into Chainsaw Man—a devil hunter with bizarre, chainsaw-like powers.
From that moment on, Denji finds himself entangled in the dangerous and often deranged world of the Public Safety Devil Hunters. He meets colorful colleagues, takes on terrifying devils, and tries to pursue his own sometimes hilariously simple dreams.
