Sentenced to Be a Hero

Sentenced to Be a Hero is a fantasy series with a somewhat darker, satirical take. Instead of the classic "chosen hero," this story focuses on convicts who are literally punished with heroism: their task is to be sent to the front lines to fight monsters, and survival is anything but guaranteed.

The tone oscillates between dark humor, raw action, and genuinely emotional moments, with the series showing what happens when "heroes" are primarily disposable in a cruel system. Expect a mix of cynicism, tension, and yet hopeful moments between characters trying to remain human amidst war and political games.
