Frieren: Beyond Journey's End follows the story of Frieren, an elven mage who, together with her heroic friends, defeated the Demon King. While her human and dwarven companions grow older and eventually die, Frieren remains virtually unchanged due to her longevity. This confronts her with the transience of life and her own difficulty in forging deep bonds.
