Frieren: Beyond Journey's End follows the story of Frieren, an elven mage who, together with her heroic friends, defeated the Demon King. While her human and dwarven companions grow older and eventually die, Frieren remains virtually unchanged due to her longevity. This confronts her with the transience of life and her own difficulty in forging deep bonds. After saying goodbye to her old comrades, Frieren sets out on a new journey, together with her apprentice Fern and the warrior Stark. Along the way, she relives memories of the past and learns the true meaning of friendship, loss and cherishing special moments. The story is a moving and magical adventure about time, grief and finding meaning in life.
