Wind Breakerfollows Haruka Sakura, a boy who is only interested in fighting and becoming stronger than everyone around him. He starts at Furin High School, a notorious school full of fighters known for their strength, not their grades. Haruka wants to fight his way to the top and become the strongest of them all.
But Furin High has changed: the students now work together to protect their town from trouble and hostile gangs. Haruka becomes involved with this group, the "Bofurin," and learns what it means to work together and help others. As he makes new friends and becomes more involved with the group, he discovers there's more to life than just fighting for yourself.
