Cardcaptor Sakurafollows the adventure of Sakura Kinomoto, a ten-year-old girl from the town of Tomoeda. One day, she discovers a mysterious book in the basement of her house containing the magical "Clow Cards". When she accidentally releases all the cards, she is assigned as a "Cardcaptor" by the book's guardian, Keroberos (Kero). Her task now is to find, capture and safely store the escaped cards, because each card has unique magical powers that can cause problems in the town.
In addition to the magical challenges, Sakura also tries to live her normal school life, which creates a mix of adventure, friendship and growth. The series combines magical action with warm, everyday moments.
