Could!follows the lives of four high school students—Yui, Mio, Ritsu, and Tsumugi—who come together to revive Sakuragaoka High School’s Light Music Club in order to save it from being disbanded due to a lack of members. Although Yui initially has no musical experience, she quickly grows into an enthusiastic guitarist, while the others play bass, drums, and keyboard respectively. Under the guidance of their eccentric music teacher Sawako, the girls experience countless fun and often humorous moments, from practicing and performing to tea parties and school trips. In their second year, serious guitarist Azusa joins the club, bringing more structure and motivation to the group.
The series is all about friendship, personal growth and the joy of making music together, with the girls’ daily lives and little adventures taking center stage. As the girls grow older, they prepare for their future and say goodbye to their school days, while Azusa takes over with new members.Could!is known for its warm atmosphere, humor and feel-good moments, and shows how close friendships and shared passions add color to life.
