Chi is a curious, gray-and-white kitten who loses her mother and siblings one day while walking in the park. Lost and alone, she is found by young Yohei and his mother, who take her home. Despite the fact that their apartment does not allow pets, the Yamadas decide to take care of Chi, which turns their lives upside down.
