About the series
Code Geass is set in an alternate world in which the powerful Holy Britannian Empire has conquered large parts of the globe. The Japanese student Lelouch Lamperouge gains the mysterious power of Geass, which allows him to give others commands they must obey. Under the alias Zero, he begins a rebellion against Britannia, driven by his desire for a better world for his sister Nunnally. What follows is a gripping tale full of political intrigue, strategic confrontations, and difficult moral choices, in which the line between hero and villain becomes increasingly blurred.
