About the series
Baka and Test, short for Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, takes place at Fumizuki Academy, a school where students are divided based on their academic performance. The top students get access to comfortable classrooms, while the lowest-scoring students have to make do with a dilapidated space. Protagonist Akihisa Yoshii is in this infamous lowest class, but thanks to a special system, students can summon magical avatars to face off against each other in battles. Together with his eccentric classmates, Akihisa tries to improve his class's standing, which leads to hilarious confrontations, rivalry, and complete chaos.
