Shipping Update: More Fair and Transparent Rates

We have updated our shipping options to make them clearer, fairer and more sustainable for both our customers and AniMuchuu.

The goal is simple: you should only pay the shipping cost that is actually needed to send your order safely, while we can continue to protect every order properly—whether it contains one small figure or several larger items.

Free Shipping and Discounts

We are happy to announce improved shipping benefits for customers in Belgium and Germany:

Netherlands: Free shipping on orders from €80.
Belgium and Germany: Free shipping on orders from €120.
All other European destinations: €2 discount on shipping costs for orders from €120.

The €2 discount is applied automatically at checkout. No discount code is required.

For European countries outside Belgium and Germany, free shipping is no longer available. Shipping prices across Europe differ significantly by destination, parcel size and carrier rates. A single free-shipping threshold was therefore not always a fair or sustainable option for every country. These changes will apply on all new orders; existing (pre)orders will not be changed.

Why Have Some Shipping Rates Changed?

Previously, our international shipping rates were mainly based on the cost of sending a small parcel.

This worked well for many orders, especially orders containing one or two smaller figures. However, not every order fits safely in a small parcel. Some larger figures, multiple-item orders or bulky product boxes require a larger parcel to ensure that everything is properly protected during transport. When a larger parcel was required, the actual shipping cost could be much higher than the amount paid at checkout. We then had to cover that difference ourselves. To make this more fair and reliable, the shipping rate shown at checkout for selected destinations is now based on a standard parcel size and also the possible amount of refund if applicable.

Please note: Some countries do not have a possible refund, as there are no difference between shipping fee for a small and regular parcel. See our shipping policy for actual shipping rates and possible refunds. 

You will not pay too much

We understand the sudden spike in shipping fee might come as a shock. Do not worry: if your order can safely be shipped in a smaller parcel, we will still use the smaller parcel and automatically refund the difference in shipping costs after dispatch. In many cases, orders containing one or two smaller figures can still be shipped at the same lower shipping cost as before.

This means:

• You pay the standard shipping rate at checkout.
• We carefully pack your order and select the safest suitable parcel size.
• If a smaller parcel can be used, we automatically refund the difference.
• If a larger parcel is needed, your order is safely packed and the shipping cost is properly covered.

Orders of €120 or more remain eligible for the €2 shipping discount in the applicable European countries, including when your order can be shipped in a smaller parcel.

A Fair Solution for Everyone

We believe this is the most transparent approach for both customers and our small business.

You will never be charged more than necessary when a smaller parcel can safely be used. At the same time, we can continue to pack larger orders securely without being forced to reduce protection or absorb unexpected shipping losses.
